PUBLIC SPEAKING

Nocciola The Drawer is an artist whose creative journey has taken her from fashion designer to muralist, with plenty of unexpected adventures in between. Through her talks, she explores the wonderfully wiggly path of a creative career, the women who inspire her practice, and the power of art and colour to transform the places we live, work and gather.

In More Colour Please, she explores how colour shapes our emotions, influences our experience of place, and brings public spaces to life. She also offers a behind-the-scenes look at her work as a mural artist, sharing the journey from immersing herself in the community, site-specific research and collaboration, to the final artwork. Drawing on her experience of Q&As and panel discussions, including the Women of the World Festival, she brings warmth, curiosity and a love of big ideas to conversations about creativity, public art and the power of community.

Her talks are ideal for conferences, festivals, creative organisations, arts and cultural institutions, universities, community groups and local authorities looking to spark new ideas, celebrate women in the arts, explore the impact of colour on public spaces, or inspire people to see their surroundings in a different light. Whether sharing the twists and turns of a creative career or exploring how art can transform a place and the way we feel about it, she invites audiences to think differently, embrace experimentation and imagine a world with a little more colour.
