Stories of Home - Gresham, Middlesbrough

A gable end mural painted as part of Middlesbrough Storytelling Festival. Collaborating with community groups in the area, a combination of immersion sessions and creative workshops. Community groups from Newport Community hub including the karate group, model railway club, family fun day and stories from the Washed Up project. I project managed and mentored a local contemporary abstract artist, Hannah Campion, to paint her first mural on the opposite gable end, creating a colourful entranceway to the street. Commissioned by Middlesbrough Council with Creative Factory and Teeside University. Hand painted with spray paint.
